The study of History is important, because by looking back at the roles which the old Druids took upon themselves, we can maintain a link with our predecessors and can adapt those roles for ourselves.

So we who are Druids in Ireland today have to create our own role in Society. One of the most prominent ways is to give service to the general public. We do this through awareness raising as Healers of the environment, the safe guarding of Ancient & Historical sites and by maintaining our valued traditions as teachers and advisors.
We have to be strong and healthy within ourselves and in our beliefs.
We have to be able to promote discussion through advocacy which in turn can influence government policy changes thus creating change in the social structures within Ireland.
